Sorry, been without electric most of day, terrible day, can't do daily.:(
 
It certainly does not, extenuating circumstances, being hammered by storm force winds, stopped my photo being posted on the right day.
I live a good mile from the sea but yesterday the wind came from the north east and there was foam on my lawn that came off the sea.
Back to normal with the daily.
 
I hope you do Susie, I carry my small Lumix camera and if a friend is doing the driving I can get a photo like that or birds. Family and stuff, Christmas. All sorts. I took this photo yesterday and then changed my mine because its a bit naff. It would do as a young thingy, if I became desperate.:)

Sounds great, not that I have the time (and for 4 months of the year it's dark when I leave for work and dark when I get home) but one thing I have thought of doing is just a striaght documentary record of the local area, changing seasons, buildings, people, etc.It sounds obvious but the reason we have old photographs of places is because someone went out ahd took them.

That's a good idea Chris, I do still try to get some of my photos printed, I don't think it's the same looking back on the computer as actually holding a photo in your hand.
Shirley, I'll probably do it all with my iPhone as it's much easier to put them on here. I was thinking of everyday objects at strange angles, or all B&W. maybe just random. I'll hop into that section and see what others have done.
Sorry this is the 52 thread and I'm going off topic .... don't want to end up in the naughty corner :D

Re the 365 .... I'm a great believer in the old adage "Less is More", and think it would be best for all concerned if, instead of 7 pics/week posted, we took 7 pics, that's 7 different subject, 7 different interpretations of the weekly theme, spent time weighing up which is the best technically, theme-wise, aesthetically etc. and posted the one, holding back the other 6.

I think you've spelt Thursday wrong, sounds as though you had a bad day at work. Better put the kettle on or a hot bath.;)

It was deliberate, an effort to show how I will feel after the 4th consecutive 13+ hour days.
 
Oooo I hate this one, :( but looking at the thesaurus there are more
Synonyms for cultural than I'd certainly considered! Enjoy people (y)
