the other way round for me....think this 52 has beaten me.

It's been a pleasure being part of it this year and I have enjoyed looking through all the other submission and appreciated all the comments on mine. I have learnt a few new things and tried different techniques that I would not have done without this challenge so it has been a worthwhile adventure but I think I will bow out now. I will try and keep an eye on some of the themes coming up and may even add a few more to my thread but realistically I can't see myself doing many more before the end of the year.

Thanks for the fun, and well done for those of you still going.

Just jump in when / if you feel like it Steve, and maybe we'll see you in 2017?

Sorry to see you go Steve, may be next year

Thanks, will try and do a few more before the end of the year but will see. Definitely considering it again for next year.

Glad to hear it.
I gave up around week 26 last year...so glad I came back this year.
Granted, I know I'm very tardy when it comes to commenting, and given how many people comment on my images, I really must do better on that front.

That's good Steve - hope you do. Always nice to see the very different interpretations people offer and have envied the quality of yours, like The Lone Tree for instance. Would be good if you stayed with it but can understand that there are other commitments that may prohibit.

Some of us of course, no names mentioned, have an unfair advantage; generally speaking, it's those whose links begin with "@".

:D Must admit I've set up some pretty crazy things for my 52's. All creative geniuses are a tiny bit mad :)

That's a club I'm also a member of; hell, I anthropomorphise eggs! :D

Watch out, if you stand on thin ice it has a tendency to crack, nothing worse than cracked ice:bat:

And cracked pepper makes you sneeze,
But it does make a nice sauce :D

For the effort theme, if someone takes a photo of me making an effort with my camera does that count. I can't do a tripod and timing thing on uneven ground.
I'll do something else.
