TP 52'ers Class of 2016 Discussion thread Week 52 we made it! time to celebrate /( celebrations)

Only 2 days, what is re.shoot. Its really hard being a beginner, I want to reply to everyone who has put up a photo, so you choose a photo click on the linky and then look through all the other photos that the person has put up during the year and log out and put the kettle on. Later log back on and other folk have given everyone a comment and I have only given about 2 or 3, its very hard work tha knows.:coffee:Mellow birds time:) get that kettle on.

A re-shoot is as it sounds, you get a theme for the week, plus an optional re-shoot.
If you didn't like something you posted previously, then re-shoot it.
If you think you could do a better different image for a theme then shoot that.
Its purely optional.
 
Someone high up said I really shouldn't post archive photos but tomorrow its re.shoot and I took a very good shot yesterday which would suit a theme that was in the past. So, can I post a photo which will be 2 days old for a theme that was in the past for next week. If you see what I mean:confused:

It was a suggestion, as you had a bit of a run on them, we all do it occasionally when we run out of time, but usually say so.

They are guidelines to adhere to, should you feel so inclined.
If there were no guidelines the place would descend in to anarchy ...

I don't know if this will help but when I first decided to take my photographt seriously I tried very hard to submit a pic I had taken especially for the theme. It made me challenge myself and try new techniques. Some worked, some didn't (just like now) and that was back in 2009.

Hope you enjoy the challenge as much as I have.

Personally I would n't.

For me the challenge is to take one photograph every week for 52 consecutive weeks to a chosen theme.

Personally I'd rather stop than choose something from my archives and if I miss a week for whatever reason I'd also stop.

The challenge is hard...which for me is what it makes it such an accomplishment to complete it.

Ooops, first time Cobra has beaten me too it but I'm nipping out in an hour to drive the 8 miles to the nearest "proper" bit of urban to take a photo...

It's your challenge, do what you want. Earlier in the year I posted a photo that was perfect for the theme but which I had taken a few days beforehand, it caused a bit of upset and which was listed as "archive" :( but frankly for me it is about making me get out and take photos, so if I have had a weekend of taking photos and then a busy week, I don't see the issue but my personal boundary is it would always be something taken about a week either side of the theme being announced. People have different lives, different time constraints, different abilities, different photographic priorities, I like to think this is a friendly and inclusive challenge.

Okay, I give in. I'm getting further and further behind with the topics and just don't see there being scope to catch up any time soon :(

Not sure if I need to be deleted or anything from anywhere. I'll try to get some done as and when I can but for the time being it's just too damn hard. Very well done to those who are still going. I'll remain subscribed so I can look in now and again.

Thanks for having me and commenting on all my submissions to date. All the best and I will hopefully be back for 2017!

Hey Shirley ... I was just agreeing with @kennysarmy 's sentiments on what the challenge means For me and Personally

Quit now and you'll never get it right. ;)

TBH I think this lark is extra difficult for those who are either not surrounded by an array of photo ops, as I am here in London, or don't have the kit and the know-how to do those wonderful tabletop photos.

There is no right way or wrong way, its a personal challenge, as I said before we do try and adhere to a few guidelines, or there'd be totally anarchy ...

If you want to miss a week, then do so, if you read the guidelines, Here you can also play a joker,
and post something different from the theme ... Try a clock or something :p
