TP 52'ers Class of 2016 Discussion thread Week 52 we made it! time to celebrate /( celebrations)

Which means I probably wasted all your time reading all the nothing I just wrote.
That's 30 seconds of my life I'll never get back :p

But I only do it because many people do it and the mods keep saying there are no rules.
Its always been "no rules" but if everyone wants to make it tighter and "more formal" in the future we can start afresh like that next year.
After all that's only 45 weeks / 45 images away, it'll soon pass :D

I'm one of the slack ones who post late. :p But I only do it because many people do it and the mods keep saying there are no rules.

Usually, I'm a stickler for rules and I do like the idea of a 52 having a strict one-week deadline. At the same time, I also appreciate having the extra time to get a better photo especially since this is my first 52 and I've owned a DSLR all of one month.

Having said all that, I actually AM working on posting all my themes within the week, just because it's a good challenge. Am pleased to say I've just managed to work off all my backlog and have only the current theme to work on now.

Which is all a td;lr way of saying I'm happy with stricter rules, or not, whatever you guys want. Which means I probably wasted all your time reading all the nothing I just wrote. :exit:

Run!!! ..as i read it... :coffee:

wtf..... 45... ONLY 45.... u say it like...its JUST 45 ... ..... yet technically i've got 434 to go.... :banana::banana::banana:

That's okay. Slaves have too much time anyway. :D :exit:

It's funny how you've used a coffee emoji when, in your signature, it says you can't stand coffee. :P

Oh...I loathe coffee...... but mix it with hot coca cola and it will keep me awake enough to drive long distances and leap tall buildings..

Well, I hate coffee, too. Don't like the smell or the taste and I can smell it a mile away so there is no secretly spiking my drinks with it! :p But...coffee and hot coca cola sounds...

Oops, I think we might have gotten a bit OT.

I feel the same about tea, I can tell if someone has stirred my coffee, with a spoon previously used for tea, even if they rinse it under the tap first :puke:

Wow, that's quite a feat, since I believe tea to be so much milder than coffee that I would have thought the coffee would overpower the remaining atoms of tea left on the shoddily rinsed spoon!

It never fails, :(
TBH I have tried tea in the distant past, and find it much more "aggressive" than coffee,
although admittedly there are coffee's & coffee's

There's also teas and teas.... :P I suppose some teas would be stronger than others. I normally take Earl Grey, which I find quite mild, and sometimes "fake" tea (i.e. camomile, fruit teas, etc).

It's how ppl make it.... ppl can kill tea by doing builders tea... or so weak it's mere water with a tea bag waffled over it..

For me the aim is to take a photo every week in the week it was announced. However, I am currently 4 weeks behind mainly because I brought the wrong icing, then I was on 4 long nights and then I got the flu and couldn't face anything!! I would rather be late and catch up than stop all together. I how have 3 of my 4 missing iamges but I am struggling to shoehorn anything into camouflage :(

Please don't ban me!

Hope you are feeling better Ruth?

Don't listen to the hear say no one gets banned :)
( if @Dark Knight gets round to it, you end up on the bottom section, wall of shame, I've been there since the last 52 :D )

starbucks, costa? Nah it's a bica dupla pingada at my local Portuguese cafe for me. :woot:

ometimes "fake" tea (i.e. camomile, fruit teas, etc).
At least all my coffee is genuine and comes from a bean and not some obscure plant that was never designed to be labelled tea :D

Much better than I was thank you - just trying to catch up with everything I have missed :)

Quick question, although technically none are a necessity and it is just for fun, is old part of the challenge? I know it was practice but would it be treated as missing one out if I haven't submitted one for it?

Cheers
Earl

Nope just a practice / warm up for those that were itching to get cracking.
If you do that one it'll make 53.

If you do it you'll probably get BANNED!!

Could I just make clear that I have absolutely no power to ban anyone.

Which is lucky for most of you.

I remember your Photo 24. I lost the plot at the planning stage of mine :) No idea how you managed it (did you do two?) Found one, alas photographs have gone linky

Cheers.

if you go on flickr Mr P.. you should still be able to see them on there... i changed a load of permissions as i was having issues with the former mrs frank ...

Maybe not ban, but certainly create a new category.... "Almost a 52" ;)
I log as many as I can on the spreadsheet if they are/as 'archive images' if they are not taken in the week, I don't catch them all but ensure they are clearly highlighted, but a lot that are posted via the forum have the exif stripped so I can't check them :bat:

Welcome

Week 0 - Old ... yes a practice run really, so not obligatory. Good luck with the other 52 themes, enjoy. :)

:whistling: :D

Although saving for web, does it automatically, as there are no prizes and all that, it doesn't really matter, "you" are only cheating yourselves ;)

Mine will all be pics taken especially for the 52 just not necessarily in the correct week! I like to skirt the naughty list ;)

I try to keep the exif data but sometimes it gets lost in the upload...
