yahoo/flickr split happened, or started happening, years ago I thought.

Updating the firmware on the flash is a thing?
I got a TT350F about a week ago too. Had no idea I might want to do a firmware upgrade.

I see that the X-T2 May 2018 Firmware was released today

I think I'll wait a couple of weeks in-case there are any bugs to iron out.

That may change now as Flickr are now part of Smugmug

Still got low to sort but I'm hoping to do that this weekend and get match sorted too.

Whilst I've been happy with the performance of the X-T2 so far, I decided to upgrade the firmware to 4.00, primarily for the promised AF improvement.

Primarily:
1) The low-light limit for phase detection autofocus has been improved by approximately 1.5 stops from 0.5EV to -1.0EV, raising the precision and speed of autofocus in low-light environments.

But this sounded interesting too
2) The range at minimum aperture has been expanded from F8 to F11. For example, even when using the XF100-400mmF4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR with the tele converter XF2X TC WR, phase detection autofocus can now be used.

Anyway... I'd not bothered to look at the firmware before. Seems I was on 2.12 !

Looks like I also get this from the 3.00 firmware:
1. New AF tracking algorithm for moving subject
Thanks to the newly developed image recognition algorithm, the update enhances AF-C to track moving subjects twice as fast as previous firmware. In addition, the update also enhances tracking to be able to capture up to 50% smaller moving subjects than before.

You've gotta love Fuji and their commitment to enhancing the user experience.

Have you upgraded your firmware versions?
 
At long last I have made it round to all the threads, just my image for Match to take and the new theme as it almost that time again :banana::banana:. For now its off to bed I have the joys of the early shift to look forward to :(.
