It`s a shame you did not give it to us a yesterday, as I took a nice Gate shot yesterday morning never mind though I will have to go and take it again :p

Yep all 52 of them, plus the practice week 0 the 4 additional re-shoots ( but these aren't obligatory )
So I make that a total of 57 :thumbs:

As this is my time with the challenge I was wondering how obtuse one's interpretation can be?

Would this qualify for this week's theme?

Yep... but no, not the best year for sign up numbers but lets see how many actually start :D

Year - Signed up - Post wk1 - Finished

2012 - 101 - 86 - 15
2013 - 117 - 93 - 18
2014 - 103 - 86 - 17
2015 - 131 - 101 - 18
2016 - 98 - 79 - 27
2017 - 87 - 63 - 25 expected (2 Late)
2018 - 56 - 33 week 0

Stupid forum can't even add tables :banghead:

As you can see, the number signed up does not reflect the people that actually start, and bear no relation to how many finish either :)

<EDIT> and... to show how good things are getting in my opinion, here is the percentages of those that start that go on to finish !!

2012 - 14.85%
2013 - 15.38%
2014 - 16.50%
2015 - 13.74%
2016 - 27.55%
2017 - 26.44%

Well, I'm up to date with commenting on all the images posted in the 'Images Only' thread, and there are some crackers already. I'm up late again as unfortunately we had to say goodbye to our old doggy today so it has been a nice distraction to look at all the images and read all the new threads, Hopefully more people will get on board now the first 'proper' theme has been posted and there will be lots of ticks on DK's spreadsheet after the weekend. I'd better get my thinking cap on...

Its your challenge, you interpret the themes as you see fit. :)
A little lateral thinking is good, sometimes there is no real option to some of the more obscure themes that get "pulled" :thumbs:

Thanks, guys. She was in our lives for 15 years so she leaves a massive hole and today has been tough, but we do have lots of lovely memories and I've set myself the project of picking my favourite photo of her and having a B&W canvas made.

The next theme is "out" Thurs 11/1/18. People try and aim to get the previous weeks no later than the Wednesday. :)
 
A quick question.......I may be travelling Feb/March this year, is it OK to take the images while travelling and post most of them when I get back? I won't have a computer with me, though suppose I could edit and upload from my phone...

i always get behind and have to bulk post. Don't stress. Post when you can (y)
 
Was thinking the same Frank :D I think try is the operative word and I too often fail but got there in the end :D

i've always found it hard at the beginning, to then find myself half way through thinking where has the year gone....and then come the closing weeks that they just simply disappear VERY fast

I know, really not sure where all of last year went :D Just posting my first two and will then make a start on some commenting before it gets out of hand :D
