I have just bought a new phone, with a recall button and all the instruction book says is the Recall timing is set to 100ms if you have problems with this please switch the setting to 300ms, no explanation what recall button is for and how it works am i the only person that doesnt know this:thinking:

I think it has something to do with putting people on hold or transferring them. For instance if you are talking to one person and have a call waiting you can press recall to switch between the two... and possibly have three way conversations. I'm not sure though :shrug:

Recall is for when you are using the phone on a private exchange/switchboard I think. Its what you press to forward calls/park calls.

I guess you can change the tone duration if your switchboard needs a longer tone. Pretty irrelevant on a home line.
