hi all. found your forum by accident but have enjoyed reading what i have seen so far. i have just upgraded To a dslr from a compact recently and am keen to move to the next step from taking snapshots to taking "real" photographs. i bought a nikon d3200 which came with the 18 55 kit lens and then bought a 55 200 zoom. i am still learning but im sure with all the help and advice i find on here the results i am looking for will soon arrive. thanks pete

Hi Welcome, my advice would be to enroll in an evening class at your local College or School, this will give you plenty of Knowledge and Hands-on experience. Helped me a lot
 
many thanks for all your replies and a big thanks for the link. i have been watching lots of the mike browne videos on you tube. they are amazing and really imformative. my only problem is i seem to read loads and try and get so much information i forget the best way to learn is to get out with my camera and practice!!!
