i totally give up on the human race ,photos willingly supplied with a statement if this turns out to be a offence .GGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I agree completely, Jeff. It appears some people (I think and hope just a few) think any wild creature is something to be disregarded at best or something they can use for their own amusement. As kids I think we have all chased birds to make them fly away but then we grew up. Looks like the bloke hasn't got there yet. Unfortunately he probably never will; and not a great example to set to the next generation.

I vote name and shame (well post the photos of the thunder*****)

Edited: because the swear filter isn't as smart as I expected and some delicate individuals may get offended by a turn of phrase

It gets frustrating to say the least when you witness something like this.
A couple of years ago, I was at Knole Park near Sevenoaks taking shots of the deer, and there are clear signs for dog owners to keep their dogs on leads - for very obvious reasons.
I was taking shots of a group of deer in a sunlit glade, when a dog charged at them, scattering them everywhere. I walked towards it, thinking it was a stray, but no, it was followed by two foul mouthed individuals who were laughing at the results of their idiocy.
I approached them and said that dogs should be lept on leads at all times here, and their reply was all too obvious - swearing followed by threats of violence towards me if I didn't **** ** - all too predictable unfortunately.
Welcome to chavvy, ignorant Britain.

Can't remember how many times I've seen morons ...not just kids either... Chasing the deer at Knole.
Really want to slap them silly.

Thunderpants is ok, go on just type it! don't worry about the sensitive ones, even they have flatulence too....:D

What breed of dog was it? does it fit the stereotype?

Probably! No doubt had shorts on with a big tattoo on his leg.

That's cruelty to animals. Making them wear shorts is bad enough but getting them tattooed is beyond the pale!

First time I've been called delicate Matt and thank you for editing your post following my now deleted one (y)

I thought everyone knew the swear filter had been modified for that word after a few people pointed out the problems
with referring to a Lincolnshire town, perhaps you should proof read your posts

Yeah don't know who deleted your post or why  so are you saying your not a delicate wall flower :) I do double check my posts before hitting post, I meant what I wrote just fully expected the last part to get hidden at least partially...

I deleted both of them as they didn't add anything to the thread. Neither do these really so wouldn't we be as well dropping it? A mistake was made, it's been corrected, let's move on :)

Sometimes, just sometimes, these characters get exactly what they deserve.

Years ago, when we lived on the farm (not farmers ourselves) we were woken by sirens and flashing blues. There were ambulances and several police cars along the lane and a lot of torch lit activity two fields over. As one does, we threw on some clothes and went to see if our neighbour needed help. He didn't, although he seemed to be having some trouble breathing on account of trying hard not to laugh at the afflicted.

Turned out that some towny thugs thought they'd their hands at badger baiting and had somehow found out about the set on his land. They'd shown up with a couple of dogs and started digging. It appears that one of them got annoyed at the curiosity of the bullocks who, rightly, regarded the field as their territory. Said idiot hit a bullock with his shovel - never a good idea.

The bullock retaliated and his mates thought this looked like fun. The thugs and their dogs ended up cowering in various spots, desperately screaming for help.

End of story: once the injured got out of hospital, the lot were done for a nice variety of charges including deliberate cruelty to a farm animal, vis-a-vis the shovel and received a fine collection of large fines.

Gratifying to read - I do wonder if the fines were ever paid though...
