Thanks for the reply Mike

Basically I just wanted to know if the second kit is double the quality of the first, bearing in mind its over double the price?

The biggest difference is the power of the heads, the Interfit (link 1) the heads are 150 Watts, the second link the heads are 600 Watts, that would be why there is a difference in price.

Your first link doesn't work for me.
The 2nd one should be OK, but doesn't seem like good value to me - basically it's the next one up from a very similar one sold by another seller under a different name. These particular flash heads are sold by a lot of different people under various names.

The things you should be looking at are the flash duration, which is slow, and the recycling time, which is VERY slow. As I have never seen the inside of one I may be talking nonsense but this means, to me, that they have economised on capacitors, which also means that the colour temperature and flash energy are likely to be pretty inconsistent.
Get the Lencarta ElitePro 300 softbox kit instead - same sort of price but a known quantity, very fast recycling, fast flash duration and 8 capacitors inside it...
And it includes a radio trigger, which you'd otherwise have to buy separately.

Elinchrom do a dlite kit for £399 and they are way better than the ones mentioned on this thread as they have skyport, also digital control.
