I think its sad, what we have become as a society,
but then again, I wouldn't have splashed <sic> pictures all over the internet of me & my daughter in the bath anyway.

LINKY

Not sure I would have posted it on Facebook either but I have shared a bath with all my children, including my daughter.

It truly is ridiculous and gets me so bloody cross, it's totally natural..
But posting them is asking for trouble

Same here Steve (y)

But posting them is asking for trouble
Not the smartest move he ever made was it?
But then again, in the "old days" you'd share snaps of your kids, in all sorts of places,
I, as many others have I'm sure, pictures of them running starkers on the beach.

I guess we should blame the internet for all the worlds ills eh? ;)

Starkers on the beach Haha totally :D

Funnily enough I sent a couple of Dom my eldest who's 19 a couple of totally embarrassing but funny ones of him around 2yrs old. .. Now I'm not daft enough to post them anywhere, firstly because he'd disown me but also because you just can't do what you used to anymore..
Same with @woof woof post in the other thread.
It's just all gone very sad

It's just the online posting that's new.
I remember sharing a bath with my mum and with my dad, and I'm 46! When I was little that is!
I think being able to share pictures online with friends and family is great, and online albums can be made visible to just those chosen, but sharing every little aspect of life with the world and his dog is weird.

Dunno, I'd never heard of him until this stunt.

Unless I missed something in the article, he hasn't personally been accused of anything. Other people have and he posted this picture to embiggen himself show how silly such claims are.

I think it's a great thing he's done!
We're all born naked, and the amount of shame that's put upon nudity by a media-led society is just wrong.

Reading some of the examples in the article (Like the plaited hair on a bare back of an 11 year old...the father being called a paedophile) just makes me want to bang my head against a brick wall for the stupidity of those who can't *not* associate skin with nefarious intentions.

Nail on head!!!!

I've been in the bath with my daughter a few time (she's 18 months old), within the last few months she's realised Daddy's got some different bits to Mummy and is a little curious but that's only natural and only shows that her awareness of the World around her is developing.

Some people are just sooooo sensitive about this sort of stuff and as you rightly said Marcel, can't separate the innocent activities between parents and their kids with people who go out of their way to abuse.

It's a very sad World we live in :(

If anyone sees anything wrong with having a bath with your bairn, it just makes me wonder what is going on in their head. Id guess they have problems to put it mildly

Mind bleach time - just imagine me in the bath... :) :P :D ;)

Its all about band wagon jumping though, isn't it? if "you" don't speak out against atrocities, such as this, and people with camera's in a 500 mile radius of kids, then you must be "one of them"

The worlds gone mad :(

And you just had to voice that didn't you Nod :bat:

Yup, and I should add that "things" are floating (and by "things", I don't mean truds!!!)

Nose bleach time...... What's a bath :D
A quote a few years ago, from the younger sibling, of a rather "well to do" family, after he was told to go and have a bath before supper.

"But only the dirty common people need to bathe"
Little brat :D

I suppose men aren't allowed to change nappies either - but maybe that's a good thing. ;)

LOL but as the saying goes, its not so bad if it's your own kids :D

I was surprised that the article said Danes were prudish about nudity.

Not sure about full nudity but they're certainly not bothered about getting their baps out in public! (On hot beaches/beside swimming pools.)

Baps? Shouldn't they be pastries? :)

Like the majority of those who expose, they're more like muffins. Hell, make that bloomers!!!

Hmmm I love a danish pastry :)
