Thanks Kerry.Another lovely set of shots Paul. I'd love to tag along on one of these walks![]()
Oh I absolutely am Paul. It wouldn't be for a while though; I'm travelling all over the place for work at the moment, so my weekends are very much involving staying at home as much as possible! Thanks Kerry.I'm not adverse to company now and then if you're serious.

Thanks Keith, sometimes I'm lucky and get nice clouds.Nice to see some purposeful looking cloud, the Vixen tor picture is superb.

PM me the details Kerry, I might be able to meet up depending (if you want) when and what I've got on.Lovely shots as always Paul.
In an unexpected turn of events, I'm going to be spending three days in Bovey Tracy in a couple of weeks. I won't have time to join you on a walk, but I'll definitely be heading over to Princetown to explore my old stomping grounds![]()
In Princetown? The Plume (of Feathers) is open again - probably old news but worth repeating!
YesIn Princetown?

Thanks mate.Lovely set this week Paul. You're right, those 65x24 shots are fab. I'd have the b&w one of the falls on my wall any day of the week![]()
Having been to Princetown this week, I have to issue a correction: the shop and house was opposite the Devil's Elbow, not the PlumeI used to live right opposite the Plume of Feathers. My mum & stepdad ran the Mace supermarket on the corner and we lived in the attached house. It's all been knocked down, it's a visitor centre now I believe.

Thanks Kerry,Lovely shots as always Paul. Shame we didn't get to meet up last week; I'm hoping to be back again before too long, though.
Thanks Jan.It's a really scenic bit of the moor and you had the weather for it. I spent Monday coming up with a Plan B but fortunately they got the fire out so I got up to Quinters Man onTuesday. I could see where it had burned over the side of Cut Hill. And you still get people arguing about how/why we get wild fires. Unbelievable!

Thanks Kerry.Lovely shots Paul. I especially like the 10th one in your blog post, looking down into the valley![]()

I think it's natural Kerry, the way these things were formed from volcanic activity which have had all the softer earth etc eroded over time that has caused Tors to topple forming the Clitter below. There was certainly no obvious evidence of man's invervention on it.Nice! Is that square(ish) boulder natural, or would it have had some bits taken off in the past, do you know Paul?
