Well I am using the basic DSLR, the Sony a200. My dad has an old 35mm Topcon SLR, which has a zoom lens and wide lens that I would love to be able to use on my DSLR. Are there any adapters available? I have tried google searching but I'm not too sure where to look.

I'd greatly appreciate any help - if there is anything you need to know about either of the cameras then let me know. I know the Minolta AF Lenses can be used with the Sony DSLRs but that is all I could find out. Cheers!

Topcon - that's a name that I haven't seen in a long time!
iirc they used an Exacta or latterly a Pentax K mount. (which Topcon SLR model has he?)
Not sure about the Exacta but pretty sure that there is a K to MAF/Alpha adapter.

They will be manual focus & you'll need manual exposure though.

oh & welcome to TP. :)

Thank you for the warm welcome!

Well a quick google of "Topcon SLR" showed me that the model is the Topcon Unirex, a popular model it seems.

Edit: Searching more I found this post:
Now, make sure you do not have yourself a topcor UV lens as they will only fit cameras they were made for.

So I'm guessing it's not going to happen!
