Up until 5th July TopCashBack is offering a £2 signup bonus for anyone who joins them. Membership is free and you can get cash back on your online shopping. In order to benefit from the offer you will need to use a referral link with which the offer is connected. Here is mine....

http://www.topcashback.co.uk/ref/tdodd

If you should use this link to join before close of play on 5th July then we will each get a £2 bonus.

You can also joint TopCashBack without the referral, but then we both lose out on the £2 bonus. If you prefer to opt out of the bonus then you can use this link....

I've been with TopCashBack for around nine months and so far have earned £131 in cash backs.

I guess in the spirit of fair play, if anyone else has a referral link with the offer attached then they too can post here and anyone who wishes to join can choose with whom to partner for their share in the bonus.

I signed up from your referral, will let everyone know how I get on. Cheers for the link!

I signed up too - you could make yourself a good amount from TP referrals :)

Have had £300 from QuidCo in the past year, so will be interested to compare the two sites

We get a minimum of £50 per month cashback from the utility warehouse discount club. And that's just on, well mainly on, housekeeping and petrol expenditure. They now have two additional areas to their member's 'clubhouse' where further discounts can be earned. www.utilities-direct.co.uk and click on the clubhouse to the bottom left to learn more.

Cheers. You won't regret it. Just remember to go to your etailer's website via TopCashBack in order to track the transaction and record the cash back due.

I've been with Quidco since the early days and have continued my membership, despite the small annual fee, even now that I have swapped to TopCashBack for most of my shopping. Occasionally Quidco will have better cash back rates on some things, but usually the rates are identical, and sometimes in TopCashBack's favour. When making a purchase I usually check both sites to see if one has better rates. If they are equal then I go with TopCashBack.

Both sites can offer huge cash back amounts for things like phone contracts or insurance products, and sometimes there has been cash back of 10% at Jessops, allowing me to get some real bargains on camera bodies. Mind you, I always use the cash back sites for even the most piffling amounts, on purchases from eBay, 7dayshop, Play etc. etc..

To date I have accrued ~£1250 from Quidco over the last five years and £130 from TopCashBack since last September.

Here's a summary of my cash back earnings from TopCashBack so far....

Thanks for showing the breakdown above, Tim. It reminded me to check what was happening for a silver surfer who signed up when he was going to change to TalkTalk. No payment was showing so I started a Missing Cashback Claim. As it was over 100 days ago they can't be arsed to chase it. :bang:

Hope that serves as a warning to any new users.

While that is unfortunate, cash back is never guaranteed, although in my experience it has always been paid as expected. As for not chasing outstanding claims over 100 days old, I guess they have to draw the line somewhere. They have chased stuff on my behalf and come good. Here is what they say about claims made after 100 days (the bold is mine)....

If it is over 100 days since your transaction, then I’m afraid that we can’t normally chase up your claim. This is a rule imposed on us by the affiliate networks, who frequently won’t handle claims much older than this.
If, however, you wish to claim because your transaction has recently been rejected by the retailer (i.e. your cashback has been crossed out and replaced with zero) – but your transaction is now over 100 days old, then we realize that there was nothing else which you could have done – so we will be able to over-ride the system on your behalf and accept your claim.

We are sorry that it is a little long-winded to submit your claim in this case, but please send us an enquiry requesting that we over-ride the system on your behalf, enabling you to submit a claim over 100 days old. Thanks.

Since there is, overall, a very good chance of making some decent savings, and no costs or risks whatsoever, it still seems like a worthwhile proposition to me, and with a £2 signup bonus until 5th July, why wouldn't you give it a go. No strings, no contracts. If you don't like it then don't use it. The most it will cost you is a few mouse clicks.

Quick bump as this is the last day of the offer. Sign up by 23:59 tonight for your £2 bonus.

Ok I've just signed up. :)

What's the deal with the ebay cashback? It say 40% of revenue. What does that mean in real terms on an item that would cost about £3500?

You've got another
Kept meaning to join to give me another option from Quidco.
Oh how cheaply I can be bought :D

ebay revenue is the final value fee they charge the seller.if it's a private seller the final value fee is 10% of the sale price,so in the case of £3500 the seller would pay ebay a final value fee of £40(that's the max amount for private sellers) so tc would pay 40% of this =£16.00

if it's a business seller the fees are a bit more complicated to work out,as they work on a percentage for each part of ther sale

I see. That's not really much of a saving then.

This is another referal link they sent me if anyone wants to use that. Http://www.TopCashBack.co.uk/ref/Member7935694041

ok,i've worked the fees out for business sellers on ebay
the fees are 2 tier one for media which attracts a higher final vaue fee and one for technology(cameras, electrical)

on £1500 sale in media the final value fee would be £46.05 so tcb pays you £18.60

on £1500 sale in technology the final value fee would be £21.67 so tcb pays you £8.66

still worth a punt as it's money wouldn't have got otherwise

my lnk to tcb http://www.topcashback.co.uk/ref/batemansxxxb
