Topaz ajust has got a lot of presets and sliders which give a varity of effects from a sort of hdr to a softning and pretty much everything in between. They also make a selection of other software like topaz sharpen, len effects, black and white, denoise, remask, smpilfy, clean, and in focus.At the moment Ajust is about £30 so not a bad price.

I have everything apart from their resharpening package, don't use it all but went for the bundle when it was £99 a year ago. I use it quite a lot, taking different elements as needed. You could probably do everything in PS if you knew how but I don't so find this is a simple way to get some more punchy results.
