I downloaded a trial of Topaz a few weeks ago but could not get it to work The Topaz filter was never visible in my filters menu in CS5. Last week I got a full version of Topaz but still can't get the filter to show in the menu. I've tried all the fixes on the topas website but to no avail.
Has anyone had this problem and what was the solution.
I really want to use this software but it's driving me mad:bonk::bonk::bonk::bonk:

Which Topaz? At present there are 10 filters in the bundle, plus Star Effects, plus Fusion Express. And are we talking about Windows or Mac?

If it's Windows and it's one or more of the filters, find your Topaz Labs folder that's inside your Programs folder (varies according to which version of Windows) then Copy it and Paste a link to it in your CS5 Plugins folder. All Topaz filters are installed inside the Topaz Labs folder so once you link Photoshop to them, you shouldn't have this problem again.

Thanks Gary. It is the bundle and Windows 7. I've tried what you suggested in various ways as suggested on the Topaz website but still no luck. The filter just does not appear. Any other suggestions

Thanks

Chris

Are you running 64 bit or 32 bit, it may have put it in the wrong folder ie if your running 64bit then check the x86 plugins folder to see if it there, if you run win7

Try going to programs/topaz labs/topaz ajust (or whatever) plugins and copy paste the 8BF file in there to the plugins/filters folder in your version of photoshop. But as said some may not work in 64 bit, not sure with topaz.

Dont know if it any help or at all relevent but when I installed the Topaz filters on to my PC I just installed both the 32 and 64 bit versions and they were automatically installe dinto the relevent CS5 folders.

If that doesn't work though there is a fix here
