Top Gear returns Sunday 2nd November 2008

I doubt it was planned. But when it started hitting the door and it was looking like it would gave way they probably just went with it. That part had to have been set up in the way Hammond kept on going, even though it was obvious it was gone as he said the banging stopped.

Heard on the news they're trying to do a Ross/Brand on Clarkson for the 'truck drivers murder prostitutes' gag. Anyone else seen that?...

That's 131 more than Ross and Brand got before the tabloids rounded up their lynch mob. Still top gear has a worldwide audience of around 300,000,000 according to Hammond this morning so 133 complaints isn't even a drop in the ocean.

now they've had 500 complaints due to the 'i read the daily mail and im going to take down the bbc' band wagon jumpers.

cant people see it was a joke, which is lets face it what clarkson is about, he likes being controversial.

maybe these ross, brand and now clarkson haters should stick to watching playdays or the magic roundabout if they are so easily offended.

Cari Mitchell, of English Collective of Prostitutes, meanwhile, said Clarkson's comments were "more serious than the Ross and Brand debacle" because he was "making light of murder".

"More than 60 women have been murdered who the police say are prostitutes in the last 10 years so it's an absolute disgrace," she said.

Clarkson should lose his job and "the people who allowed this programme to go out have to be brought to account," she added.

the bbc article is funny, it mentions an 'english collective of prostitutes' now correct me if im wrong but is that not a brothel?

when is this repeated?? missed it on sunday due to me being an idiot?

thanks ryan

Dont forget 8pm tonight!

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May travel to the US to take a road trip from San Francisco to the heart of Utah in three new-generation muscle cars, hoping this time to avoid a mob of angry locals pelting them with rocks. Back in the UK, the Fiat 500 Abarth gets a test drive and Will Young is the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car

 What a bloody great episode. SIRC was alright tonight. at the the aplogy and the alrm setting off and the fact may crashed and moving hamsters car. All in all, fantastic :D

Season 12 Episode 3 of 8
Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May try to make an ordinary second-hand car lap the test track as fast as a new, purpose-built sports saloon. James also meets former Formula One driver Mika Hakkinen to discover why Finns are such good drivers. Richard Hammond tests the Veritas sports car and Hollywood actor Mark Wahlberg is the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car

I thought that Avantime was AWESOME. It sounded amazing. And looking good. Do it properly and it would FLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May are challenged to drive from the heart of Switzerland to the north-western coast of England on just one tank of fuel, with the winner switching on the Blackpool illuminations. James also power tests the Pagani Zonda F Roadster, and the Stig sets a lap time in the Bugatti Veyron

Who bumped the Veyron?

The O/S sill had a right dent in it!!!!!!

Yes, but TG don't do things properly.

I think the concept of a 2 door coupe people carrier is crazy enough - pretty rare as well.

They couldn't give them away when they were new, most ended up be pre-registered as "demos"

The Bugatti time didn't really surprise me, the thing is too heavy to be a track car in my opinion. On the other hand I wasn't surprised the new Zonda beat it. By the time the Bugatti's turbos are fully wound up it's time to break for the next corner.

Can someone pleeeeeease get a screen shot?

I must have missed her while i was doing my ironing :coat:
