Top cop's 'stop stopping snappers' memo: Too little too late?

It can never be too late to put right the misunderstandings. Better late that never - although I do wonder how long it will take for this message to permiate

I think it's the PCSO's. People on a power trip.

Big buildings = icon site

I am filming for fun... "I don't believe you"

Another typical example of the police force (or wannabe police force in this case) harassing people who are undertaking a perfectly legal hobby. Idiots...

I tweeted the guardian's article a couple of days ago, and with tongue firmly in cheek wondered how long it would be before we need a license to use a camera.
"http://really.vg/TeHkPDyet more harassment of photographers - How long before we all need a license to use cameras outdoors?"

Since then, the Mail have had a bit of a spread, and more and more of these stories are popping up all a bit of a worry really

I just watched this and read the whole story, And i say fair play to him for standing his ground. Police can be very intimidating especially if your own your own. Police abuse their powers and its wrong. I know there are terrorists out there who film buildings and take pictures. But not everyone is. No one with a camera can be trusted by the police, fact. And theres nothing we can really do about it but stand our ground and fight back so to speak. :bonk:
