Tools gone haywire

The circular preview brush has disappeared all of a sudden whilst using a brush or clone stamp tool?? The square bracket keys don't enlarge the preview brush only in the top menu? Looked through the menus but i'm stumped if i can see what's gone wrong.

I've had this problem before but sorted it somehow but tonight it's driving me mad. :bang: Obviously something simple...
