I was driving into town on Tuesday about 1/2 an hour before sunset, sun in a clear blue sky behind me, sky as black as sin with a huge raincloud ahead of me. All the autumnal trees were just oozing colour and saturation against that black sky. Oh and a huge rainbow of course.
Without doubt the most gorgeous lighting I've ever seen, I'm still kicking myself that I didn't have a camera on me. :bang::bonk:
I normally always bring my gear to work with me and it sits in the bag all day as its raining or generally poo outside, then the days i leave it at home the sky looks awesome or i see something that would make the perfect shot!
Where I work I look out of a window to the west, and at this time of year I'm constantly kicking myself over not being able to get out there and photograph the most beautiful sunsets!
