What software do you guys use for tone mapping?
I know Photomatix will do tone mapping and HDR but what is best without having too high a learning curve?

I used to use photomatix but didn't favour it much.
now I use either HDR pro in CS5 or the tonal contrast feature within Nik color efex.
Ceertainly the latter two give me the results I like but not at the expense of overcooking the image.

For ease of use I found dynamic photo hdr simple enough, but I do prefere the results from photomatix, once you get the settings worked out PM is easy enough, it looks daunting at first but it's pretty simple really.

Been using the PM trial whilst on holiday and it seems ok but just wondered if there was something better before committing.

What difference does paying by paypal make? I'm planning on getting it soon.

Discount code knocked it down from £70 odd to £60 odd and then when I clicked the Paypal link it dropped to £56:19 so a very useful double saving.

And about twice the price.
