Am possibly looking into the above lens as a UWA for my Nikon D500 to replace my not too stellar copy of the Sigma 10-20 F4-5.6, which is pretty soft and crappy at the extreme edges in the range of 10-14mm (at all apertures and never really sharpens up).

Wonder if anyone has had any personal experience with the Tokina on high res Nikon DX (D5300, D7100/7200, D500 etc ?), as it seems to get pretty decent reviews on line ?

i use the 11-16 Sooty on my D500, i hear the 11-20 has less flareing, overall the things is sharp, i dont seem to be using it though like i thought i would, tend to use the 18-140 more to be honest as a do it all lens.

But at 11mm its wide ill give it that...

Thanks Rob, appreciated.

Hey @Sootchucker although I doubt this will help; I have it on the Canon 7d2 . I Love the lens, critically sharp stopped down by one, and perfect for low light work @F2.8
A lot of my recent shots have been taken with it, ala https://www.flickr.com/photos/geoff-moore/
