It must be true cause its on Facebook,:D. 19th November, that was yesterday never too late to go to the loo. It says read awareness about toilets, so if you need to know about about toilet or have never been read it on Facebook.
Maybe they come in Alpine Blue, or types of toilets my nephew has a square seat not my cup of tea at all, that's cause he is posher than me, can't think why.

Yep, the link also appears to have gone down the pan.

On a slightly more serious note.....about a third of the world's population don't have access to a toilet. This causes many of them to die.

Bill Gates (yes, the man we still haven't forgiven for Windows ME) is putting literally millions of dollars into this as a fairly important technology challenge.

He makes crazy requirements like it has to be able to output clean drinking water and table salt. There's another one that actually creates power that could run handy things like cookers so people can get a hot meal too.

There's a lot of tech (and money) being thrown into toilets right now :D

The so called "third world" has been in need of change on so many levels and toilet day is one of many local projects and, when linked to other projects, like making clean safe water available to all, builds cogs in a 'virtuous circle'. Beating starvation is another cog. Part of whole life cycle really.

(Bump.)

Hooray for World toilet day! Let's hope this, and other schemes have a positive effect.

Maybe to counter the negative, Trump, effect.

His quest to bring effective sanitation to people without it, runs a close second to his foundation's mission to eradicate malaria.
Like him or loathe him, he puts his money where his mouth is. :-)

Is Shirley post-op Joe S.?

To help celebrate world toilet day (albeit a day late!), I had a curry last night...

Not trying to be pedantic.... it's KHAZI

That said your point is valid across most towns and cities as public conveniences diappear and the few 'pay' Lada Niva boxes I have seen always display 'out of order' or 'cleaning'. Still the old Victorian Style pooh corners make nice offices/underground apartments, art galleries (when we need fart galleries).....

But its only being polite not boastful at all :D
True.... but you can ruin the moment asking to be 'rated' on your FB page.....

I honestly didn't believe that a thread about toilets could get any lower. Only in OOF on TP!

I overheard a girl say to her boyfriend "I've never come this way before." as they cycled down Stepcote Hill. "Must be the cobbles." was his reply.

As you said this is OoF, it was obvious it was heading for the sewer from the off

The 1960's called, they want their joke back when you are quite finished with it

It's as young as that?
