I take it £400 is expensive for the speedlight. I have no idea because I shoot Nikon
 
I think that's quite a big hike on the 580EX II. It used to be around the £300 mark iirc.
 
Have i missed something? what is happening to the price of equipment?
Sorry, I have been away for the last 10 days so this thread was a bit of a shock for me!

it has always been 400 in jessops or should i say 399.99 so it is the same, used to be able to get at 275 from others .

Basically because of the current state of the pound and other stuff prices were meant to go up today.

I've just ordered a 580EX mkII from Kerso for £285 delivered :) He still has a few left...

Been looking at a Nikon 70-300 AF-S VR and they have just gone up about £60 this weekend. Most places seem to have no stock and I guess that Nikon have been holding them back prior to the price hike:shrug:

Anyone got a second hand one:thinking:

Guess I will jsut have to save some more.
 
I'm guessing the majority of the Canon price jumps will occur tomorrow, just in time to coincide with the ending of the cashback on bodies.
 
I noticed the Canon 24-70 lens at Parks has shot up to over £900 now. Their old price was £809 off the top of my head.
 
No better time to buy used or even new old stock (NOS)! There are some wonderful bargains to be had at the moment....!

I was checking the price of a Nikon 18-200 VR yesterday as I have one in the for sale section. Warehouse Express were pricing them at £519 which is a huge increase in terms of what they were.

Not sure on other items.
