today - kent. where to go?

Hi guys,

well it's a nice day and I haven't taken any photos for a while.. there's nowhere near me that I can think would have any good subjects in.. Can anyone suggest any locations in kent? I can get pretty much anywhere on train etc, or possibly drive.. Not fussed what really! I've got a standard kit lens, a 50mm, and a 70-300

I have just bumpted a post in the Meeting places thread to see if anyone fancies Polo this afternoon or tomorrow afternoon. Not quite in Kent but only about four miles into Sussex between Burwash and Brightling

Why not try Dungeness? I've not visited, but it looks an amazing place, and if I lived in Kent it would be top of my list of places to take the camera.

How about Elmley Marsh for a bit of wildlife? It can be a great place with all kinds of things there to photograph from Hare to Marsh Harriers.

Groombridge Place is a lovely setting, its where Pride and Predjustice was filmed

Whitstable (pretty fishing village/harbour), Sandwich Bay (they've got a wild bird sancutary there too), Bedgebury Pinetum (great for autumnal colours), Leeds Castle (aviaries and birds of prey displays).
