Today I learnt that ...

Blend the llama and ground beef in a large bowl, being careful not to over blend as that will create a denser burger.
Add the egg, bread crumbs, lemon juice, thyme, rosemary, feta, and salt and pepper, to taste.
Mix well and form into 8 equal round patties, no more than 3/4-inch thick. Refrigerate for 30 minutes, allowing the ingredients and flavors to blend together.

Heat the grill to medium-high heat.

Add the burgers to the grill and cook until desired doneness is achieved, about 6 to 8 minutes per side.
Remove and arrange on serving plates over sliced tomatoes. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar and garnish with chopped scallions.

Damn I'm really hungry now!

Hmmmm... After recent research, all I can say is that feta is a bit too salty and unmelting to stick in a burger, either as a stuffing or as an additive to the ground meat. Graviera (the Greek version of Gruyere) is far better cheese to use but I reckon Cheddar is easier to source here in the UK, although I could be persuaded to sacrifice a little of my Graviera...

Yeah, I'm running out of 'marinade'...

Is the big baster for adding the marinade from t'other end?

I was just going to offer to be your big baster. Until I realised you were talking about BBQ's

Yep we do. I'll just pop to the shop and get some hot wax and a big baster.. :D

Brill and it will have to be hooooge ;)
But are he have Llama& Snake kebabs too :)

Cutting the head tends to stop them wriggling ;)

Sounds good to me @Gremlin.. Skinning a snake and basting a Llama.. Happy days :D

Well only a bloke would leave the head laying around, I normally chuck useless bits straight in the bin
It was trying to throw it in the bin that did for him. If he'd left it for an hour, he'd still be alive...

TIDYING UP IS FATAL. Kids, your parents are trying to kill you.

Blunt and no messing about.. Like it!

Would you like the honour of beheading him? :D

Cutting? Grab a snake by the tail and before it can turn and bite you, crack it sharply like a whip. Get it right and the head flies clean off, dragging most of the guts out after it, leaving a clean cavity for stuffing with llama steak hachée...

But he left it sitting there before he chucked it, must have had it captured so far easier to put straight in the bin

Might I suggest some lingual exercise before you give them your head... Lalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalala for 2 minutes to start, increasing in 10 second increments until you can do a full 5 minutes.

until you can do a full 5 minutes.
5 minutes? blimey that's just the hors-d'oeuvre, a decent meal lasts at least an hour
