Yes
So at 28 I still live with my parents. Mainly because I can't afford my own place.

But a friend has asked me if I fancy moving in, since the brother is moving out.
Would put me within walking distance of work. And would dave me about 150 miles a week driving to work and visiting mates.

Just not sure how it would work. A single lass, and a single guy living together.

Likely only for a year.

Do it!

Give your mum and dad a break and move.. joking apart i would say give it ago, you could always go home again. but it depends on what you relationship is at home.

go for it...what have you got to lose...if it doesn't work out move back in with parents.

if nothing else you will have a great life experience and not wonder what if...

Things at home are fine. Wanted to move out for ages. So it's a good opportunity for me.
I'm actually saving to buy my parents place. But moving out wont affect that to much.

Deffo do it then!

Well Andy get packing and get moving.. and good luck and have fun hope your mum taught you to cook (joke)..

I hope I can cook! Since its what I do for a living haha.

ha ha sorry i didn't know that..lol as i say go for it..

Go for it. Independence > pretty much all IMO.

Do it.

I would say go for it!

One thing though, your perception of your friends can change once you live with them for a while. Make sure it won't kill your friendship!

as long as you both respect each others space and always tidy up after yourselves, i cant see a problem.

I would have already moved in :)

Just going against the grain here - living at home is a lot cheaper, so if you are serious about saving to buy , i'd say stay where you are.

That aside if you do decide to move in , folow one simple rule do not under any circiumstances sleep with your flat mate ! even getting off with her while drunk is inadvisable ;)

Nah, even flat mates are fair game :D

I'd say definitely do it, but only if the finances fit with your plan for the future. It's not worth moving out a year earlier than planned if it puts your saving plan back several years.

Good advice but remember - single girls have friends who are also single girls! Go for it!

true , but sleeping with your flat mates freinds then failing to call them like you promised is also an inadvisable strategm DAMHIKT ;)

Go for it, will bring new experiences and challnges, gives your parents a break, makes you a bit more independent, dont burn your bridges though.

Is she hot??

blimey, i dont know how anyone can be in their adult years and live with their parents..

i went back for about a year after doing the below and nearly murdered family

definately.

I never liked living with my parents... I always desired my own space. Heck, I don't really like living with other people at all - I suppose I'm quite a solitary creature.

Do it, move out and have your own space, it's much more pleasant, especially if there's no one else around to judge you or monitor what you do.

I moved out when I was 27, I was lucky enough to have enough for a deposit for a mortgage but even though you'd be flat sharing and you may have more bills to pay, when you live away from your parents it's just brilliant. If I could have I would have done it sooner, still visit weekends for the roast dinners ;)

I had a great relationship with my 'rents and how we had the house remodelled pretty much gave me a self contained flat/bedsit it was pretty darn awesome for a teenager..

still didn't compare to when I got my first place though..

I 100% say DO IT..

Your mum may cry, your dad will shout hooray. The bit about your dad....believe it.

Life has some hoops and you need to jump through them, unless your dad is called Bernie Ecclestone.

if she is , we need pictures
She is hot.

If that won't affect your savings than move out.

From my experience, renting with friends may ruin friendship - and not by sleeping with them:)

She cooks? Make your meals? Do your laundry and cleaning your room?

I bet she does, especially if she really did let you stay until 28!
And guess you pay next to nothing for room, heat, water, elctricity, food, service etc.?

Are you nuts, man! Stay! :D

yeah news flash , your flat mate isnt going to look ater you just like mummy

and her freinds

and their freinds :naughty:
