What's your next 3 things you're going to buy?

Just thought I'd give it a shot.

Mine is :
1. Nifty Fifty f/1.8
2. Lowerpro Slingshot 100 AW
3. Sigma 10-20 f/4-5.6
 
Unfortunately mine isnt as affordable as yours!

1) Nikon 70-200 VR
2) Nikon 400mm f/2.8
3) Nikon D3

2 and 3 really need to be simultaneous purchases though. 1 is looking pretty imminent as well which is a nice thought but the wallet won't be happy!

Also this wish list is only really possible due to me not having a mrs! :lol:
 
1) A bag, not as organised as you as I have no idea what model!
2) One of the Canon 70-200 L range.
3) Sigma 10-20mm (probably, depends on number 2 choice whether funds are there)

Hmm.

if I only could have more than 3 things on this list, and a mass of cash!

1- A decent rangefinder+lens (probably voigtlander bessa r)
2- The Nifty Fifty (probably f/1.8)
3- DUNNO! its either a rucksack with camera and laptop space, or I am getting a few things repaired (if that counts!)

Wouldnt three copies of the same lens be rather pointless? :lol:

my list:

1) 1.4 x TC
2) 300 F4 L IS
3) 10-20mm (or similar in that range!)

the 10-20 is way off in the future though, but that will be my kit complete, except for a few CF cards and another HDD for redundancy in my backup.
 
hmm.. don't know about "to buy" but my "want to buy" list is:

1) A fast and portraitish prime, maybe the nifty 50 f1.8, f1.4 or maybe one of the sigma f1.4's, still researching
2) some ND filters
3) I'd love an ultrawide...

cheap lens for my 2nd body,
Sigma 20mm,
Tripod and head - Probably carbon red snapper with trigger head.
 
Happily nothing, nada, zilch.

might sell some now redundant lenses.

Now just need the time and opportunity to get out there and get stuck into using it all.

In no particular order:

- Spare battery
- New bag

The credit card is heaving a sigh of relief as most of the big spending is done, although I think the list of filters is creeping towards three figures now :(

Other than that yes it would be nice to have a faster long lens or something like the 85mm 1.2 but they are going to be way out of my budget unless I win the lottery so it looks as if I am in the great position of having the setup that will last me now especially as the lenses I have will get better pictures than I can manage!!

I'm going to shore up my computer side of things, my current monitor is only 17" and is showing it's age. While I'm getting a new monitor I might as well make sure it's calibrated. My mum works in a school and should be able to get me a Intuos 3 with education discount, I'm hoping the prices will drop a little now the 4s are out.

Lens and camera wise I'm pretty happy at the moment, I may get a 85 1.8 at some point but that's not a big expense. I also want some sort of lighting so I'll probably get a Lencarta kit :)

2. 2 Minolta 5400HS flashes (Anybody got any old ones lying around they want to sell? ;))
3. Cactus V4's to fire above flashes

I have the luxery of a G9, so I don't have the continous temptation of new lenses :lol:

3) SB-600 or a macro lens not decided what I'd use more.

Couple extra primes 35, 20.
24-105L & a bigger zoom something like 100-400.
 
Mmm...

1) Some cheap screw in red / orange / yellow filters for my B&W film landscape photography.
2) Flashlight (would love a 580EX II)
3) New body (50D perhaps!!!)
