Thank you does not seem a good enough expression of my appreciation and huge debt of gratitude to ALL of you, but if you do not mind I want to say 3 special thank you's.

Rob (Arkady) that brief few mins we had a pm, when you asked why it said in my camera bag section (None at the moment) I was simply answering your question, and our nice chat whilst we were pm'ing.

As you know I was initially horrified and actually declined anything when you 1st put the donations thread up. You are 1 of a kind Rob, given the nature of your job and what you see and have seen, you have an amazing kind soul.

This month has been a roller coaster of emotions mostly good some bad through some berks on here and another forum who use this.

Rob THANK YOU

Now proffessor messer, Darren (Cowasaki) the time you have put in to not only my project but Nats, and enough for a 3rd platform is outstanding you are also one of a kind. You have done so much and still more to do for you.

I could never in a million years have afforded this, it would only have been a dream, well you ALL are truely wonderful caring compasionate people, I count each and everyone who has helped me as a friend for life no matter what.

I know Rob is dying to rip my photos apart and in all honesty he can, as I am no doubt gonna make c**k up after c**p. As you can probably imagine I am :'( they are a mixture of all the emotions I have experienced since joining here, plus I wont lie I am so so so so tired I dont think I will be experimenting too much before bed time tonight, if you dont mind that is. If you do its tuff titties

And not forgetting Stuart from Digital Depot who has done some amazing deals, but for taking the time to drive for 4 hours here and obviously back. A big thank you to you also mate.

I look forward to many many years of photography and getting out and about with you all if I can.

From me and Mrs Wheels

THANK YOU ALL
from the bottom of our hearts

Now proffessor messer, Darren (Cowasaki)

There is a new user title if ever I've seen one :D

Julian - I'm sure the only thanks that anyone needs is for you to enjoy your new kit and keep us posted with your progress. I'm really glad you and Rob had that little chat and Darren (among others) has done stirling work putting it all together. Makes me proud to be a member of TP and I'm happy to have contributed in a small way

well said, I hope everything turns out ok for you and you enjoy togging

Cheers Julian, now my keyboard's soaked, have fun.

Have a good rest tonight Julian, glad you like your new kit. Thank you and loads of photos is all we need. You have plenty of time to take them and we will be around on here to see them, criticise them  and help where we can.

As far as I'm concerned, it couldn't happen to a nicer bloke! You're a top chappie who is deserving of all you've been given - and someone who gives plenty back to life as well, by way of helping others. I, personally feel honoured to have become a friend to you and your wife Lynn, and enjoy every time we meet.

I'm looking forward to going out on some meets soon.

Helen

You are more than welcome, enjoy what you have, what you do, and who YOU are.
We are pleased to be amongst friends, take care.

Phil.

Thank you for your thank you. I hope you get many, many hours of pleasure out of your new equipment and that will make it all worthwhile.

Good luck and hope to meet up one day.

Donald

It was great to see Julian drive out of the side door and onto the path in his crazy motorised paparazzi trolley. Looking forwards to going out with the pair of them on an orientation mission before a big thank you everyone TP meet. I would suggest Chester Zoo or something like that! I will organise that one if everyone wants to come along :D

TP is more family than community  Julian enjoy your kit you deserve it matey

THIS is all the thanks we need:

This has restored my faith in human-kind. It's good to see what can be achieved when people club together.

That's a very cool set up. Enjoy. Looking forward to the pics.

im pretty new here, just seen this thread, not sure on the background of it.
but it very obvious that the forum came together and helped a friend out........

hats off to all that contributed:clap:

All the best Julian and keep us posted with photos Rob

Really glad its all come to fruition and you are pleased with the new gear Julian

Don't worry about the berks, they are about in all walks of life and are a very tiny minority
Think you have conducted yourself with great dignity considering the amount you have been in the limelight. Reckon you now deserve a bit of peace and quiet to enjoy the camera etc

Cheers
Rich

SOOOOOBLOODYPERB!

Congratulations Jules and superb work Rob & Darren. Who would have thought that a thread a few weeks back would have such an awesome impact!

Rob - hats off to you mate for starting the donations and Darren for your hours of hard work! HOW COOL IS THE RESULT!

Julian, I think it's US who should be thanking YOU!

You're a star, as is everyone who contributed to this project, whether by donating money, equipment, time or advice.

I wasn't in a position to help, but I followed this rollercoaster ride of yours with increasing amazement and incredulity.

That so many people, unknown to each other, were willing and able to provide money, equipment and technical expertise to bring this to fruition simply beggars belief!

You've started something special Julian...long may it continue!

Amazing...simply amazing.

Janet

Julian,

You deserve it - just get an early night and then you can be up early to play with your new toys.

You are right to highlight the people mentioned in your post - I think their effort has been nothing short of fantastic. Well done lads.

Take care and enjoy,
Ken

I don't know the full background of all this and why you didn't have your original camera, but I'm so pleased for you.

I think it's great that there are still people out there who take the time out to help others, and this story has really touched me.

Big:clap:
to all you guys who helped out, and julian hope you have many happy times shooting with your new cam:thumbs:

Phil

Julian you are a true inspiration to us all. I have followed these threads about you and your new lease of photography life and it is so nice to see what people can do when we care and rally together.

You thoroughly deserve your new toys and lease of life and I certainly will look forward to seeing your shots when you post them.

A credit to your wife too, it sounds like you have a good woman behind you there. I hope she enjoys her new toy too :)

Enjoy mate!

Can't wait to see the results, Ps don't tell Stephen Hawking's he'll want one.

The pleasure is all ours, Julian !

Enjoy every minute of your new kit - you bloody well deserve it !!!

Daniel.

Oh and can I just say -

THIS THREAD DELIVERS!!!!

Awesome!

Looks absolutely epic! Great to be part of such a wonderful forum. All we need now are the piccies from you, Wheels.

That's a rather mean machine you've got there. I can only but offer the same warm wishes to yourself and words of admiration towards those who spearheaded the idea. Does restore my faith in humanity, it sure does  !

Way you go Julian. Can't wait to see the photos you've taken. Get some rest as I think you'll be busy soon.

Well done to everyone involved.
