Next Monday I have my 1st Belt Grading in Taekwon-Do...
And I'm bloody nervous as hell :(
It's not the technical side of it, but the parents watching etc.. no confidence.. but I have to admit, I'm a lot more confident and focused compared to when I started 12 weeks ago!

My son had his 1st grading 3 weeks ago he is now a purple belt
 
Yeah he's 5 and he has a full belt not a stripe?
 
relax and let what you have been taught come through, don't try and over think it, you will be fine :) :thumbs:
 
It will be fine. My little girl (6) is doing her Brown I at Muay Thai on the 27th. Wife also doing her Brown I on the same day. I usually get a few shots in before I do my gradings.

thanks mate. It's just trying to ignore whats going on around me and not feel embarrassed.

Cool. Photography is not allowed at our gradings which is a shame.
 
We allow it but I, for example, would have to ask permission of the parents of the child my daughter is grading with. People cant just take random photographs in the club.

Should have made that a little more clear :)

my last grading years ago, before my job forced me to quit, and get fat, was brown belt.
i was in my 30's and still soiling my kit.
oh i trained in goyararu. averaged about ten years to get to black.
very few did.
