titch124's 52 for 2010 updated Week 9, 10, 12

OK, here we go!

Curves.. clean and simple, well taken and I like the composition too... bit dark?

Poetry.. this one I like, though made me keep humming the Gambler :D

Chopped - ooo-err, another dark one but again, nicely taken.

Street, I am preferring the first bw of the street, the movement does it for me.

Speed, nice take on the streaky stuff, excellent foreground interest.

Present - that's a surprise... the previous piccies have been a bit... moody? Then this one pops up - maybe you have got a sense of humour after all :D

People - very nice, I am so impressed by this one... pose, processing, capture, focus point, everything. Best so far by far for me

thanks for the comments for last weeks guys , i shall be re visiting them in the near future :D

as for this week , i have to admit i was totally stumped when i read this weeks theme, i had no idea what to shoot , 6 months ago would have been easy , but they have not got rid of the old press at my work, so i was really stumped for idea , and then it hit me.... and i mean litarally, i still have a lump on my foot to prove it.

i think i like the second one more, but everytime i start to lean towards that one , i start to lean back the other way.

for this image , i tried to make it a bit more interesting with the lights, the lights are all from servers, rack mounted in my office, with the main lights turned out to give a better effect, although i was then stuck with trying to avoid excess noise on the image, but hey ho , you cant have everything

I much prefer the second one because of the light that falls on the.. thingamebob - pointy thing..! The bokeh is lovely and the colours give it a futuristic sort of feel. To me, anyway :)

The second one seems to have more detail in it, and I also prefer the composition as well as the OOF reflected lights.

One tiny niggle...

Is it straight?? :)

Seriouely though, that's a minor thing. I love the lighting too.

Ian.

First would be my choice just because the space around the second seems so wasted. Great use of lighting to get a unique look for the subject. Nicely done

1st one for me too, the crop fills the frame and the colours seem more vivid.

C'mon Richard... Have you given up??

Ian.

these pictures are a bit rushed , but under the circumstances i dont mind :)

I think Play and Produce work well... clear and good colours. I'm not sure on Chemistry... i think the DOF may be too short or in the wrong place... I see what you've shot where you have, but ...

The cake looks delicious!
