Yes
I came across this story about ballon exchanges between North Korea and South Korea. NK objects to SK sending loads of propaganda leaflets into NK so, last month it sent 1000 large balloons into SK which were filled with excrement and household trash. In response SK sent ballons into NK filled with US one dollar Bills, USB flash drives with pop music and TV shows on them and 300,000 propaganda leaflets. Better than missiles, though.

Pop music, you say....?

North Korea just executed a 22 year old for listening to k-pop. These guys ain't playing.

And I wonder what has happened to that persons wider family? In such a Draconian dictatorial society the punishment meted out is unlikely to be confined to the first person. "They" have blame someone for the perpetrators activity :headbang:

Oh wait, it's far worse than I thought.

That fun stunt with the balloons with USB drives? Some "middle schoolers" (pretty sure that means early teens) found them and watched the dramas on them. 30 that we know of are now dead.

Every action has a reaction.

If South Korea had NOT sent those balloons over the border then maybe those 30 people would still be alive.

" according to reports."

Reports from amnesty international.....
That's not what the article says.

"According to reports from South Korean news outlets Chosun TV and Korea JoongAng Daily, around 30 middle schoolers were publicly shot last week for watching South Korean dramas."

No saying where they got the information from.

You understand why there are no independent journalists in North Korea, right?

That's why everything is according to reports.

Yes I do which is why you cannot simply accept "according to reports" as solid fact. Both sides have an agenda to make the others look bad, or it could even be someone in Korea just trying to be important by making stuff up.
I don't doubt that NK would do it, there's just no evidence that they actually have.
