Got a new tablet last night so I was just playing about, I've never really been big on editing, but I feel it's somewhere I need to work on to get the best out of my shots, most of this edit was achieved using soft light layering with touch ups

well it looks like you're on a bit of a hiding to nothing here Marc as the scene is so cluttered to start with. It depends on what you want to achieve with the edit really

Regardless of the lighting / saturation / tones etc.. it really needs a good clean up first, such as the foliage/crap all down the left edge of frame, maybe give it a slight gaussian blur to the background so it's still evident it's an industrial setting but maybe not so distracting.

i'd also be tempted to de-saturate quite a bit to get rid of the greens and blues in the background. The car is black and white anyway, so this wouldn't affect the look so much.
Why not post up a larger version and i'm sure a few people would be happy to assist.

Thanks, I'll post a higher res of both when I get home later tonight, I'm not much of a cloner when it comes to it though lol

Possibly add a touch of vignetting too, will take away the eye from the distracting edges maybe.

the editing you have done to the car has bought out some more detail so well done on that

Thanks groovy, I'll try that too and see what the result is

Thanks Astraman, I'm still trying to find a balance between making the car as white as possible but keeping some defining lines in the bodywork
