Ok i need some tips on how to photograph (how can i say the larger size lady)
My sisters freind has asked me to take some full lengh shots of her.
Whats the best angles to photograph from ,any tips will do.

really far away

You're a bad bad man :lol::lol::lol:

I reckon she has a fair idea how big she is already, so no need to try hide it. On saying that, I reckon get her to stand at slight angles and look at the camera as opposed to face on. Clothes would probably help better than trying to disguise it via angles. Props might help too if you intend using any.

Try to keep a gap between the body and arms too.

What to hold her up LOL
thanks for the tip ,keep them coming.

Here is my first tip, make sure she doesn't she this thread.

This is gonna sound harsh, but try and make the photo draw your eyes to her face rather than her body if she is on the larger side.

Try for a high viewpoint, just a foot or so will help.

to get more telephoto compression rather than wide angle distortion ;)

also in case she reads the thread

Try a different wavelength..... Xray?

Seriously there are some standard tips such as stand at 45 degrees rather than straight on, head and shoulders shot or using larger props.

Many thanks for the tips so far.
No chance of her reading this thread so i'm safe.LOL

or just a thought, why not embrace the beauty of a larger woman......

I may be getting confused here, am new to shooting people, but doesnt shooting down on someone make them look short and dumpy, think you would be better getting yourself lower and shooting up, but may have that the wrong way round. :D

Shooting down puts the head closer to the lens and the body further away and can give an illusion of it being smaller relative to the head.

How effective this is really depends on the focal length and how much above you are.
