tips for pembrey cicuit

im off to watch the truck racing at pembrey end of may i have never been to the track before so im looking for advice on what parts of the tracks are photographer friendly
the lenses i have are a sigma 70-200 f/2.8 with a 1.4 extender or a sigma 150-500.im not looking at taking thousands of pics i just want a few from the day as i would like to watch a bit of the action aswell

Hey fella,

Sorry, only been to Pembrey the one weekend and personally hated it. From what I can remember you wont have any problems with high fencing etc as it's all pretty low, you should be fine with the 70-200 and extender - I used the Canon version for mine, take a look HERE to see what I mean.

Just remember that trucks take a lot longer to stop and hit the barriers hard so PLEASE take note where you stand and keep your exit route clear.

Sorry never been to the circuit but the pembrey country park is worth a visit, as is Kidwelly castle
