Tips for new baby shots

Hi all, I'm after some tips on taking some shots of my newborn niece ( 3 weeks away) just general do's and don't and possible post processing, My camera is a D90 I have a Sigma 105 macro lens and a 50mm f1.8 which i'd like to use and i only have one flash gun a SB600. After shots from say just the hand to the whole body. hope this makes sense.

Your 105 should be fine for these shots with one flash but bounce it to soften Take your time & maybe try to go after a feed so baby's feeling more content
