Anyone used tin Cheung Camera before based in hong Kong?

40D, £515 delivered 1 / 3 days. Plus cash back = £415

Whats the catch?

If I were you I'd pay the extra £85 and get the thing from Jessops. At least you know where you're money is going and you know what to do if the camera pack in.

And I think it'll probably take longer than 1 - 3 days to arrive.

had a look at their wesite and telephoned them as well. Seems a pretty reputable outfit. Was reading a thread on here, the posters wife is BA staff and they all shop there on stopovers etc.

Im intrigued, we are all sceptical about HK retailers but they are onlythe same asthos down totenham court road. Just because you can get to the shop doesnt mean theyll give you any better service.

So, thats £415 from HK, or £490 from Kerso. £75 quid....hmmm is the diff worth it?

I ordered a tripod from them and discovered they were the same company as HKBNS who advertise on Ebay.

Then the tripod wasn't in stock (despite being advertised as in stock).

They said they had refunded my payment, but they hadn't, and I had to start a paypal dispute about two weeks later to get the refund.

Beware .....

Doubt you will get any cashback as will not be a UK warranty card..

You might also get stung for duty/VAT.
some HK retailers guarantee to refund this but I see no mention here.

Ok,

Cheers guys, it does make you err on the side of caution so i suppose £75 quid for peace of mind is worth it.

If the diff was a couple of hundred then may be, but £75 seems a small diff in comparison
