Timelapse software

Is there anyone into timelapse photography that can recommend software for making the video from all the photos taken. I had my try at time lapse yesterday then after a bit of editing with Lightroom I put it all together using Windows Live Movie Maker on my laptop. Result was ok but i was unable to change the format of the resulting 'video' I have seen a few examples on YouTube and some suggest Quick Time Pro for playing it back through but then when you go to the Apple site there are a lot of people who have bought it and said it was a waste of money. Anybody else any ideas please

If you still have a Canon, you should have had the software package that comes with it, EOS Utility allows you to do time lapse photography albeit very basic.

I use ffmpeg to do that... It's free but is a command line interface. Not sure if anyone has built a GUI front end that will allow you to take JPEGs and build them into a movie (you can definitely do it from the command line).

I use Lightroom's slides how module, just manually set the slide time to be suitably fast.

Premiere Elements would be a very good option.
