Just put the blu-ray of Scrooge on, the musical version with Albert Finney. Tomorrow I'll be watching the classic version with Alastair Sim. But so far this Christmas I've watched the Seymour Hicks version (for the first time, didn't like it), the George C Scott version, the Muppets version, the Disney CGI version and the Disney animated version. Not sure if the Patrick Stewart version is on this year. Oh and I read the book. Again.

Anyone else like this classic old tale?

Not all of it. I know it's really popular but I just couldn't get into it.

Fair dues, it's one of my favourites although the Albert Finney Musical was the one I grew up with, my parents took me to see it at the cinema and we always watched it on telly after that.

I was in London a few years back and saw it on stage with Tommy Steele. Was great!

Have you seen the Bill Murray version?

Yes this....Scrooged.
I like the story, just not the depressing ending. :sneaky: :D

Christmas Carol? Mmmmm yes :)
