Yes
With the Championship season starting tomorrow, and the premiership next week, who is your team and what are your hopes for the season? I'll start:

I've been a QPR fan for over 40 years and obviously I am a little more optimistic for this season than previous ones. I know that expectation is high, but to be honest, I would be delighted with a playoff spot or even just a top ten finish!

Best of luck fabs with the forthcoming season, QPR haven't spent as much as I expected them to tbh.

As a fellow championship side supporter I think you'll agree it's not a forgone conclusion that money will get you out of this league, and expectation can cripple a side.

Supporting Wolves, we have probably spent more money trying to get out of the league over the past years than most clubs, until this year.

We seem to have put together over the last couple of years a youthful team that want to play for the team, so here's hoping.

Well, I'm going through the same pre-season nerves as every other year-( West Ham ) High hopes of doing well :cuckoo::bonk:and great expectation but normal service will resume and we'll be fighting for survival again :bonk:( Last season 10TH, season before fight for premiership place) :bang:Should rename ground Upanddown Park not Upton Park! Anyway good luck to all of you:thumbs:

My pal`s a lifelong QPR supporter for his sins... He`s been to all the preseason games so far, as you say there`s alot of expectations this season. It`ll be interesting to see how well the team gel.

Me, I`m off to watch Liverpool vs Lazio shortly.

My pal`s a spurs supporter, so when Keane left he wasn`t too chuffed....

Time to put my tin hat on.

I am a Manchester United. I have hopes of a Treble! I dont know how our season will start though with a few senior men out on the sidelines!!

Two Wolves fans on here then,I fully expect the lads to continue as they have done for 47 years ie build up my hopes of success and then let me down at the final hurdle.

Having said that at least in the Championship we dont have to put up with the antics of those Premiership Prima Donnas like Ronaldo,Berbatov and Barry

:p

Interesting how those who dislike football still feel the need to post in a football thread. ;)

And Birdy691, as you will see from my avatar, I'm also into Rugby.

I am hoping that would be the Franklin garden saints in your Avatar:)

No no, we're posting answers to the question asked.

Well, I am a life long Gooner, it's in my blood you know.

So, I'll enjoy my season ticket this year, watching Wengers U13's take on the big boys, and winning...... We only missed the title by 4 points last year, not bad for a side everybody had written off as "no hopers"

Lifelong Chelski fan here.

My only hope for this season is that we finish higher than the other London teams again.

Might be nice to stuff united once or twice as well ... :D

My local team has just managed to claw its way back into the league.

Not sure how long we can stay there but might go to watch a few matches.

Was just about to come start this thread, Portsmouth Fan me, might be able to get to a few games this season, probably on cup/uefa as they'll be cheaper, I'm about 5 mins away from good ol' fratton park. Excited for this although, we need to get a few more players in!
