Time-lapse Photography

I tried some Time-lapse tonight and I think it's something that I will enjoy.

It seemed pretty straight forward and I have a basic understanding of after effects so the editing will be fun but can anyone recommend some tutorials, books or other information that will help me fully understand it ? I have a feeling it will take a bit to full master it.

There's a lot on You tube, but very little I could find on software to create the movies. I ended up with QuickTime.

Thanks, I've seen a few things on Youtube, from the quick test the other night I don't think creating the movies is a problem I used After Effects which works well.. I will try LRTimelapse at some stage as theres a free trial available.
