Time-lapse Mining from Internet Photos

This is a fascinating project undertaken by researchers at the University of Washington. They've identified numerous photos of places like tourist attractions all over the world, on the internet, and developed techniques to turn them into timelapses so that you can see how the places have evolved over time.
