Yes
I have been wanting to do time laps' for a while now, but I have no idea where to start. I e-mailed Matt Molloy a while back for my college course, he told me about a few things and then linked me to his tutorial. However I didn't find it to be of much help, and a little too confusing for my simple mind.

I'm just wondering if anyone does any time laps photography as a hobby, or specialises in it, and has any useful tips.

Sorry if this is a bit brief, any questions feel free to ask and I will try and explain what I am asking a bit further.

Thanks,
Robyn.

It's possible with any camera. I was asking to see if you had a canon to install magic lantern. I don't really know Nikon cameras. Does it have an intervalometer? If not you will need a remote timer.

I very nearly bought a Triggertrap - the only reason I didn't was that a decent intervalometer came up at a bargain price. I had a Giga T Pro before that - they are physically very small, which may be a bonus, but I found it too small. The wireless range on it was excellent.

The triggertrap is incredibly versatile because of the app, takes advantage of the microphone (sound triggering), Camera (movement triggering),gyro sensor (motion triggering),GPS (timelapse triggering while driving etc) amongst many other things not just timelapse and all for very little outlay.

I use mine in conjunction with one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DSLR-Hot-...832?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item235391ab30
Works a treat.

Trigger trap looks like an amazing app... Then I saw it doesnt work with my Sony NEX 5t.

Works with OPs D3200 though so thats a positive :)
