Time For A Film Meet?

Time and location permitting I'm keen to get to one of the now legendary Film meets:)
 
Another vote for Arundel - it's not a million miles from me, and I could indulge my birdy side too :)

I'm not too sure a rigid 'must shoot' theme will work too well to be honest, personally speaking meets for me are much more about meeting people and having a laugh than being serious about photography (which is why most seem to end up in a pub rather quickly), but naturally I'm only speaking for myself there. :)

I like the idea of a meet; and Arudel is close to where I live.
 
Arundel sounds tempting, apart from the potential expense of venturing too close to a camera shop....

They had a couple if LF cameras in when I was last there (just before Christmas) but only one when I left. And no, I wasn't the one that bought it.

OK, why don't one of you southron's put up a thread and organise a meet down there and then I will sort out an oop north meet. We can sort it out so that people can attend one or both if they want. Sound good?

I'd love to get to a meet but Arundel is too far for me.
 
If it helps - I shoot film and also run a pub in Suffolk...Would that be of interest? ;-)

Great idea! Just to throw a random northern idea out, how about Manchester? Fairly easy to get to and it's a good drinking city! :woot:

Often have some 'guest' ciders on hand pump... Can certainly make sure that something's on should a date be agreed ;-)

We've done Manchester, lets try and be a bit more adventurous. Maybe Salford?

I do believe you may be in line for a sainthood.....Suffolk eh...mmmm? A long way but maybe doable for a weekend, may have to bring the current Mrs Snap though.

I was going to say Edinburgh's a gorgeous city, it would be great to have a meet up there sometime! Although naturally that would involve those weird creatures from the deep dark south having to invent teleportation to get there...
 
I could add a suggestion of Marsden, between Manchester and Huddersfield... some nice reservoirs and pubs!

Agreed a kind of Ale Trail photo meet, including Hebdern bridge?
 
Id love to come on a film meet, but feel I would probably spend most of the day by myself taking photos. Im not much of a drinker ya' see :p
