Thunder storms?

So infrequent are thunder and lightning storms I'm getting a bit frustrated at the moment. The weather this last few days has been hovering around the type of conditions that are just one step away from a full blown spectacle. A few rumbles here and there are just a tease as they come to nothing. Anyone else have their fingers stretching towards the camera at the moment for one of natures most dramatic events? Anyone got any pictures so far this year? If you have, let's see them.

Haven't managed to take any photographs but yesterday would have been good. We had a lot of thunder and lightning between about 3:00 and 5:00 pm

We had lots of thunder yesterday but no lightening.

Here is Bournemouth in Dorset, 1 maybe 2 lightning storms a year, sometimes you can go a few years without any.

we seem to get naff all down in the south, its annoying
