basically , as it is thursday thought i would start a thread where we look back at old memories , so share an old memory (can be completely random and post it here)

mine is i was sent to the head teachers office when i was in Year 6 and i started crying as i was scared that i would get told off.
 
When I was inside my Mum`s womb it was dark, and I could hear all sorts of weird noises.I was scared s***eless.
 
When i was young, in junior school, so under 10/11 ish, a couple of us were asked to help carry some plants to another class, but was warned not to touch the leaves for ANY reason...

So walking along being very careful and i go and drop mine, worried i'd get in to trouble i just grabbed the plant in both hands and tried to put it back together... then the pain started, i remember crying everytime i touched my hands or tried rubbing the dirt off..

It was a cactus.. the fine hairy kind.. a trip to the docs and both doc and parents using cello-tape to remove thousands of hairy cactus buggers..

Since then i hate the damn things and won't go near them lol

As a 5yr old I decided one day at school I was going home for dinner at lunch time. Apparently I'd even informed my 6yr old sister of this. I can remember walking the 1.5 miles home down the main high road all alone. The part I don't remember is my mum having looked out the living room window, finding me sat in the middle of the front lawn crying my eyes out.
