Find myself needing a bit of inspiration after a couple of years where, for health reasons, my interest in photography took a back seat. So, starting from this month my aim is to post an image from each of my three favourite genres (Urban, Landscape and Close up ) in this thread towards the end of said month. No themes or such but obviously the images should (hopefully) reflect that particular month.

A brilliant concept, looking forward to your interpretation of the months!

GOOD LUCK!

You certainly hit your objective and theme, Nice!

Love the reflection of the sky in the foreground on the last one, were the cormorants not still there when the boat reached the shallow v in the rocks?

Cheers Barney, the fishing boat was pulling up crab pots and was there a while. I waited for a bit, but it went beyond my boredom threshold;)

My August images.

Not really Urban as I couldn't get to one of the Towns/Cities this Month, so an old Garage (about to close) in a village near to me will have to do.

Morning dew on a spiders web.

The heather has been very patchy and dull this year, this was about the best of a bad bunch.

Thanks for looking.

different genre, but each nice in their own right.

I love the old petrol pumps….reminds me of Brooklands museum in Weybridge, Surrey. Must get back there one day.

They haven't worked for years, but the garage remained a repair shop until recently when it went up for sale.

A shot I have taken many times but the colours were lovely on this particular morning otherwise I probably wouldn't have taken it.

Those Penny Buns look amazing, I saw one last year, I might go out to look for it and see if it has multiplied.

They must have been very tasty!

It would be good fun sitting on the benches and getting clonked on the head by crab apples. Ha HA.

Three very different but equally appealing photos!

Cheers Wayne, the Penny Buns were a bit nibbled but that's usually the case with them! I sliced and dried them for later use in stews etc.
