Hi guys.

Just looking for some thoughts on my website. It isn't supposed to be anything fancy at all, just a way of me storing and displaying my photos. It is not finished yet, hence the lack of galleries. Just want opinions on the layout and to see if it all works ok for everyone :thumbs:

The design is nice and simple, the only thing that I would change is the spacing on your pages with text. When you click on About Tom, the text is to close to the menu. You need more padding. I like what you have done so fat though.

I am guessing the image on the front page is from the Sunderland Air Show? I am from the same neck of the woods. :)
 
Nice and simple - I like it. Perhaps adjust the size of the text and space it out a little more. Keep it simple, though! It works really well.

hi - i like how you have opted for jquery instead of that CRAPPY flash stuff. I am so sick of waiting for flash applets to download only to be disappointed by some crappy site.

Your site is basic but serves its purpose well. I like it!!
 
Cheers. My brother put it all together for me as he knows what hes doing. at first it was a link to my flickr gallery but i didnt like it at all.

Much easier like this too.

It's a bit sparce and non-informative for me. The layout is not consistent between the pages

Its a good first bash. I think you need to focus on the point of the site. If it is to show the images, then get them a bit bigger, frame them give them a title if needed etc.. If it is to drag in business then a lot of work needs doing

With so few pages, it seems a shame to have to navigate back and forth to get to the next gallery

One more thing - I only found out how to get to the next image in the gallery by accident - a little "next" arrow might help
 
there should be a photo reel below the displayed image to navigate through each gallery. I wonder if maybe it doesnt show properly on a smaller screen. me and my brother both use 24" screens. lol

I am currently working on my last two assignments at university so it is taking me some time to create the galleries, there will be more. honest. lol

The site is not there to drag in business just to display my images and a place to host them really. I intend to keep my photography as a hobby :)

I'll speak to my brother about making the images larger though.
