I believe he was referring to the hoe, albeit the type that's usually spelt without the 'e'. ;)
Well I wasn't sure, if he had added an 'e ( to the Ho) or got the OP and you confused :D

Indeed, I caught it with my D7000 last night, here it is in all it's glory above my hobby room (to the left) . . .

It's caused by moonlight being refracted inside millions of ice needles that makes up cirrostratus cloud and can occur at any time of the year. It's usually associated with an advancing warm or occluded front.

Like when your field of vision is all misted over after having spent an hour in a public swimming pool, you get that corona effect around light sources.
