When I were a lad doing the Astro imaging camera development stuff, BW was the way to go, even leaning towards the IR was good since that was where all the cool stuff was in the sky. Can't understand where all this colour stuff comes from anyway - gotta stick all sorts of things in the way of the light to turn the dots the right colour when they're better off being there or not there after all.

Waffle waffle waffle and don't even get me started on filter stuff waffle waffle waffle dedicated bw digital would be a godsend even if technically they all are under the Bayer matrix...
